Wash ,'War Stories'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I kinda want to steal the address stamp that has our old slogan on it... "people pleasing people"
Ask your manager. You'd be surprised what a closing place will let go.
hmmm... Any interesting old posters, etc?
Ask your manager
she's got dibs.
Any interesting old posters
there is a huge Gilda poster in the basement that appears to be original but I'm pretty sure someone knows it's here and I would be the prime suspect in its disappearance. I already got an Errol Flynn Robin Hood (reproduction) lobby card last time that basement storage was cleaned out.
Any interesting old posters
Laga, if there are any posters for vampire movies or Tim Burton stuff, could I ask that you try to snag them for me?
t y'know, that Gothy Cliché tag just never closes
Jilli I'll check my stash and let you know. Most of the stuff will get tranferred to another theatre. The more recent posters get tossed out if no one wants them about a week or so after their run ends. I can request anything and stand a good chance of snagging it when it gets pulled but right now all we've got in the goth vein (heh heh) is Twilight.
but this goes for everyone: if you want a poster let me know. The more popular ones are harder to come by but I have no problem putting in requests for my buffista family. You never know when you might get lucky.
elderberry wine:
does The Brothers Grimm count as goth? I could stand to part with this one although it was the victim of burnination in an incident of drunken logic so there is a bit of a char-mark on the bottom edge.
Heh. Thank you for the offer, but I don't think I need the poster for The Brothers Grimm.
teasing about helicopter parents,
That wasn't teasing, that was a warning ;)
So, anyone still up?
That wasn't teasing, that was a warning
Actually, there was teasing, barbed though it was. There was also discussion about Lawnmower parents (Helicopters who have landed and are mowing over the university staff) and Hummer parents (over land and sea, they will drive over anything to try to get their way).
I think I was giggling through most of that discussion since we have had the same discussions here.
