There is no reason she would need the 3 digits on the card. That is for online only.

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

It sounded like she was logging into Sirius, and doing it, so I was like "send me the link, and I can do it".
I'm on the phone now with Sirius radio. They said that is an OLD promotion. And he said he doesn't ask for the 3 number code for phone orders. He is digging to see if there is a new promotion that just went out, but he seems to think it sounds a bit fishy.
Hmmm. When I get off hold with Sirius, next call is to North American to see if they have a concierge service.
serial post,sorry.
After much digging, it looks like they do have an offer like that, but it is with American Airlines, and you use your frequent flyer miles to pay for the it, and you, in essense, buy a Sirius Gift Card. CRAZY. OK, gotta dig up the paperwork from North American Van lines. Arrgh. Distracting me from packing. But must get to the bottom of this.
even if true, probly an offer that is a hassle to cancel, and with the moving youll be busy and forget and suddenly owe sirius lots of money on that card.

It's actually for any time the merchant does not have physically have the card, online or phone. I used to work somewhere where most of our business was on the phone and the cc companies REALLY wanted us to get those numbers. If we didn't, we could still process the card, but we got charged a higher processing fee.
BUT, I would be hesitant to give my cc number to anyone I wasn't sure of.

NPR for the trip across, no searching for stations. Sure, I'll try that.
You can get the poor man's version here:
Just put in your starting and ending Zip codes, Mapquest style, and it will tell you where to listen and when to switch to the next station.
Rick, I love you! I'd heard something about that, but the link is of awesome!
I called my rep at NorthAmerican. She said they do have a concierge service that started last year. It was not offered to all clients, but a random thing. She wasn't aware of any of her clients getting the call this year, so she thought it was canceled. But then she was like "if they were getting a bit pushy, then that might not have been a NA rep, because the company policy is to *NOT* be pushy with the clients. So she wasn't comfy at giving an answer of "yes, that's us" and said it was good of me to be suspicious.
So, I'm not going to call that number back. I'm a little worried that I gave the numbers out, but thankfully not the security code. I'll save the info in case of a problem, and I'll be keeping an eye on my recent charges. Ugg, another moving stress.

When are you going to be down here, omnis? With Dana leaving it feels like Texas has only been allotted a finite number of buffistas.
