Vortex, this is the point at which I would start taking extremely detailed notes of everything the A!H boss says. Read stuff back to him to double check your accuracy. Include If he asks you why, you can say, "OH, I seem to have been forgetting things a lot lately, so if I write things down, then I won't forget."
Then when he changes his mind on something he has said, without telling you, you can very conspicuously pull out your notes and say, "Hmm, I have it right here, dated Jun XX, 4:17pm, you stated...."
I've done that a few times. It can be fun.
Today is going to be a very long, very hard day. ND's family gets specific answers about his dad's prognosis today, and it's not likely to be great news. Please keep the ~ma coming. We are going to need a lot of it to get through this.

I have a possibly stupid question. The deposit check our landlord sent us is in both of our names. We don't have a joint account yet. If we both sign it, will one of us be able to deposit it into a personal account?
