Wow, Vortex, that is seriously asshatty of him. Seriously. Is there no way to lay down the law to him? Or can he just make your life a living hell if he doesn't leave/if he leaves shit behind for you to clean up or whatever?
I am at a training/conference thing. Which is good because it doesn't require thinking. And because i get to meet/re-meet and actually put faces with names for some of my scattered coworkers. But it requires being awake at what, to my body, felt like 4:30AM. And staying awake while people talk about thing that are not, objectively, very interesting, in a conference room the warmth of a glacier in Antarctica. AGH. I do get fed a very yummy meal tonight, though...(am on lunch rigth now, but occasionally checking b.org on my phone under the table at other points...)
I think Hil's been taking trapeze classes in Baltimore for a while now, off adn on. They sound awesome and fun, but she's said they use crazy muscles and make her very sore afterward!

Vortex, this is the point at which I would start taking extremely detailed notes of everything the A!H boss says. Read stuff back to him to double check your accuracy. Include If he asks you why, you can say, "OH, I seem to have been forgetting things a lot lately, so if I write things down, then I won't forget."
Then when he changes his mind on something he has said, without telling you, you can very conspicuously pull out your notes and say, "Hmm, I have it right here, dated Jun XX, 4:17pm, you stated...."
I've done that a few times. It can be fun.
