[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Frack. I hate packing. OK, moving question:
So, I bought the "starter kit" of boxes. Half dozen small, half dozen medium, tape, bubble wrap, craft paper thingie. Well, I thought I was pulling the SMALL boxes out of the bin to pack books, CD's, DVD's. But apparently, I've been pulling the MEDIUM. I was wondering why it was fitting so much in a box. HELLO! That was Spidey Senses telling me something wrong. Did I listen?! NO!
So? Should I re-pack those 4 boxes of heavy stuff into the smaller boxes? No CLUE how heavy they are in the medium. Fuck.
Now it's getting really hot, and I'm heading back to Pasadena to veg in A/C... after a much needed shower. FRACK! Ugg.
Thanks, Jessica and Susan. I'm checking email now.
Topsail is a great beach !
I would repack, omnis. Moving stuff from medium boxes into small won't take a lot of time and effort, but medium boxes packed full of books and CDs will be very heavy indeed. Even if you are hiring movers, just shoving them out of your way in the mean time will have you cursing their heaviness continually.
I have a new bike!
Stephanie, we borrowed the Amby from Susan. Lillian slept in it for 7 months, until she learned to keep herself awake right around the time of her first cold.
It's been mostly cosleeping since, sadly.

In my occasional surfing through dominionist/patriarchal Christian websites, I came across this: [link]
13-year-old boy who, now that he's become a man, is totally prepared to go down with the ship, should he ever find himself in a sinking ship with an inadequate number of lifeboats.
I think I was just that earnest and idealistic through most of my teen years and even into my early 20's, but I hate to see it channeled through that particular worldview...
