[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

and don't forget the most deadly combination of all -- carbonation and artificial sweeteners. Artificial Sweeteners -- can send stuff through your system really fast -- and add carbonation= pain. Some people are more sensitive than others to this combination.

( carbonation seems ok for me -- but the addition of artificial sweeteners is deadly)

I almost never consume artificial sweeteners any more. It wasn't really on purpose; I just drifted away from them.

I think I had a Diet Coke recently, though. Hmm.

But those won't be a problem to avoid at all.

Okay, into the shower with me.

not your mom's socks.

teppy which beach again? We're driving to rehoboth right now! We were supposed to leave much earlier but DH can't lift stuff so picture me trying to lever stuff that's bigger than I am into the Heep. Took forever. DH made popcorn.

Then finally on the road and chatty cathy in the backseat was cranked. JuiceSsndwichAreWeThereYet NoImNotTiredCanIHaveA CookieWhyNotYoureMeanINeed JuiceAreWeThereYetWhats AHeronIDontLikeToBeQuietYoure NotMyBestFriendImBoredWhatsThat?

So I start singing a good night song. I pick the one that names all of the dolls and stuffed animals she sleeps with and bids them goodnight because I am a dumbass. Said stuffed animals are at the very bottom of all the stuff we are bringing with us. This did not end well.

But she's asleep now and we'll be there in 40 minutes so yay.

Eta to add more breaks so I don't blow up the board. There were no breaks in the real thing.

Topsail Beach, NC. I am clean, and dressed, and 99% packed. And we might be leaving within the next half hour. Maybe.

See all y'all on the flip side!

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Frack. I hate packing. OK, moving question:

So, I bought the "starter kit" of boxes. Half dozen small, half dozen medium, tape, bubble wrap, craft paper thingie. Well, I thought I was pulling the SMALL boxes out of the bin to pack books, CD's, DVD's. But apparently, I've been pulling the MEDIUM. I was wondering why it was fitting so much in a box. HELLO! That was Spidey Senses telling me something wrong. Did I listen?! NO!

So? Should I re-pack those 4 boxes of heavy stuff into the smaller boxes? No CLUE how heavy they are in the medium. Fuck.

Now it's getting really hot, and I'm heading back to Pasadena to veg in A/C... after a much needed shower. FRACK! Ugg.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I would repack, omnis. Moving stuff from medium boxes into small won't take a lot of time and effort, but medium boxes packed full of books and CDs will be very heavy indeed. Even if you are hiring movers, just shoving them out of your way in the mean time will have you cursing their heaviness continually.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

I have a new bike!
