I'm lucky to live close enough to the beach that I get some breeze but my car is not air conditioned so driving to work in Lakewood is a descent into hell. I may have a chance to transfer closer to home so transfer~ma would be greatly appreciated.

no, unfortunately, though it looks like it would come in handy. also unfortunate: they're asking me to do this because "you do the computer thing all the time."
YES. Currently, the website computer thing. with the databases and the code and design and information architecture. I have no frelling clue what to do with a PDF anymore. I used up all my memory on stupid calls to mySQL. PDFs have advanced so much since I knew them well.
I pointed out that the PDF format is designed so people can't just make whatever changes they want, and the customer said, "I don't care, I want to change it, how do I convert it?"
and this is exactly what I should have said if I were smart like Connie.
but they would have heard "whatever changes you want blah bladiddycakes beep boop bla bla bla. you're the greatest."
oh, and everyone else is on vacation. including the person who made this mess.

ION, I am officially On Vacation, but there's so much we need to get done tonight so that we can leave at the crack of fucking dawn tomorrow:
mow lawn
vacuum whole house (note: house is small, but pet hair is plentiful and hides in corners, so the job is still a chore)
mop bathroom floor and make sure sink, etc. are clean
wash dishes
make a family-friendly account for my laptop and password-protect my regular account (since the laptop is of course coming with me, but nobody needs to see my porn)
PACK
have the last sex we're going to have for over a week
All but the last 3 are so that our friend who's house-and-pet-sitting won't have to deal with our accumulated filth. Otherwise, I swear I wouldn't bother and I would be content to come home to a hovel.
