I miss Oz. He'd get it. He wouldn't say anything, but he'd get it.

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

It's so hot the tourists are swanning about in their shorts and short sleeves looking smug and content instead of shocked into hypothermia as is right and proper.

So unfair.

I am honestly worried about my reaction tomorrow, though. Heatstroke is No Good, which is why I always avoided all-day outdoor music festivals in MSP.

We had homemade éclairs today! The chocolate glaze had a hint of apricot, while the filling had a hint of orange. OM NOM NOM NOM.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

the DH just called and the power is out at our house, so he's trying to find out if it's the house or the neighborhod before the 112 degree heat gets him. Poor guy.

Now tagless for your comfort.

tiggy, workplace venting is part & parcel.

GAH! Owen has been shirty all afternoon--screaming at me over his Wii game, trying to bite me and hitting. We had some serious time outs and my nerves are in tatters.

DH finally woke up from his nap to take the kids to the grocery so I can complete packing and get the hell out of here.

But on the bright side of things, DH got a small promotion today. And another raise. This makes two raises in six months. Not bad for the new guy.

112 degree heat

::whimper::

So glad I'm not in the Valley right now. Not that we're faring much better down here. Well.... Ten degrees better, naturally.... *anyway*...

I do have to head in, first to Burbank, then Pasadena for a while this evening, so I'll be feeling the heat, one way or another.

Time to go to the movies.

Jeez, I guess I should be happy with Seattle's mid-seventies then. Ouch.
