Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Happy birthday, Plei!!

MM, I also vote handwriting.

Fay! I am finally getting back to reading Death Note!

It's quite amazing. It's like watching the world's highest-stakes chess match.

Anne Anne Anne! Yes! That is what it is like! I have two more volumes to go! I will finish it tonight and make a post!

Yes! Yes! Holmes Versus Moriarty, if both were hot and young and of Japanese extraction! And the HSQ keeps on coming!

Ha, seriously. It's crazy. And shit even blows up eventually!

The twist where Light no longer remembers being Kira was brilliant.

It totally fucked around with things, but I was sort of calling LAME on it because I missed evil Machiavellian Light. But it was a hell of a strategy and all part of the plan. How far are you now? Have you gotten to the most confusing chapter ever (i.e., the one where you see what The Plan was)?

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Also, using Photoshop, you can make your photos into comic panels. (Ish. It's not a conversion thing; it's an approximation, using pixellation and halftoning and whack-ass contrast and comic-book lettering.)

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I have to go in at 2:30 for Dildocam, so wish me no growths!

Last night, I was trying to parallel park and when I was sliding up to the car in front of the space I was going to park in, I misjudged and my side mirror left a black mark about 6 inches long down their side. It was 2 a.m., and my insurance info was in the trunk underneath a LOT of boxes from cleaning out my classroom.

SO I left a note explaining what had happened, with my phone number, asking him/her to call to get my insurance info.

Do you guys think that was ok enough? I haven't heard anything.

That's more than most people would have done. If it was my car I wouldn't care because it's pretty banged up already (self-inflicted) so maybe they are the same.

Fay! I am finally getting back to reading Death Note!

I suppose I should eventually give in and read Death Note, shouldn't I?

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I think so Erin. It's not like you tried to hide what happened. If he/she never calls, that's their problem, not yours.

Or they haven't seen it yet. Like when I discovered my Pasadena parking ticket two days later in Santa Barbara. And it occurs to me that I have not yet heard from the fair city of Pasadena re: said ticket.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Happy birthday, Plei!!!

No growths~ma to Erin.

Do you guys think that was ok enough? I haven't heard anything

Yes. Absolutely.

I slept till 11:30 this morning and dear me, did it feel good. I know I needed it. I haven't been falling asleep until 2 or 3 all week and have been getting up at 8 or 8:30. I feel much better now.

And, I've only been up 1.5 hours, but I've vacuumed the whole house and cleaned the kitchen cabinets. I even moved the couch to vacuum under it and found about 10 cat toys under there.

Now drinking coffee. It's a good day.
