Are you a smoker? I can't remember. You might want to sponge the walls lightly and let them dry well before painting, if you are.

and thin coats are better than thick. less drips.

take your time and don't hurry, you ( ok me ) paint less sloppily that way. ( ok paint ,not dessert)
