I'm so evil and... skanky. And I think I'm kinda gay.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Wow, what wonderful news to wake up to! Meara hijinks, vw snoggage and K-Bug matriculation!

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Hooray for K-bug!

Go vw!

DH is going to a sort of informal all-day techie conference thingy, so I think I'll take Annabel out shopping later to find something to do for Father's Day. (Which snuck up on me.)

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

meara, sounds like you had a fun night. Go you!

Yay, vw!

Congratulations, K-Bug!

The people upstairs appear to be back. I should probably go introduce myself at some point.

I'm making my 100th list for the brunch tomorrow. Hopefully everything I need is on it this time. I think we're going to go out for breakfast, do the rest of the shopping, and come back and cook all day.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Wow, I say again, Go Team Bug! (And that goes for K-Bug too!)

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Yay Bug! Hooray vw!

Speaking of father's day- does anyone have a favorite rice pudding recipe? My favorite version has been the Arroz con Leche at Meson Sabika which has citrus zest. If I decide to try to replicate it, do I have to buy a zester or can I do a pssable job with my veggie peeler?

Could someone please inform my tummy that I do not have time for ookiness today and if it would just hold off it's ookiness until Monday, I would very much appreciate it.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Do you have a fine cheese grater, laga? The kind with the little squares? That might work better. You can do it with a peeler but it can be tough to avoid the pith.

Dear sj's Tummy: Please take it easy on her this weekend and she will feed you yummy, yummy things!

Good for you, vw!

Today was day 1 of my 30 yoga challenge. My DH tried to complain about the time this will take, but I raised my eyebrows at him and told him this was my triathlon. That took much more time our of our lives and so he knew he'd lost the argument. When I came back from class he'd decided that he needs to go for some tow lessons with the hang glider.

I believe I do. Cool!

Tow lessons? How does that work?

How does that work?

If you have a large enough hill, you can take off when your air speed gets to about 15-20 mph. Without a hill, you need a truck or a winch or an ultra-light to get you going fast enough. In SF we were spoiled by Ft. Funston, where you basically just step off the cliff and pop right up.

Of course, once you're flying you hope for enough lift to keep you in the air.
