I'll be in my bunk.

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Random thoughts:

I got lots of work stuff done today. I am so proud of me. Why do I only work good when I am busy??

I made cupcakes last night for my SYTYCD stuff, and I have too many leftover. Also, the coconut ones are SOOOO GOOD. Sadly, I have fewer of those. They are coconut flavored with coconut flakes with limey creamcheese frosting. YUM. I also have almond ones with a little bit of coffee in them. But they're mostly just almond.

Also I have a headache. Not goood.

And that stupid girl hasn't emailed me. Not good.

The girl who wants to go trolling for hoes, though, has texted me to ask where we should go out tonight. I am stumped for places. So is she.

The Landmark people have canceled on me, so I do not have 23 year olds crashing on my couch.

One of my exes is getting gay married in Canada tomorrow. She is Canadian, though. She's also 24!!! OK, technically she's turning 25 on Sunday. But STILLLLLL!!!! OMG.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

If the westbound interstate is closed Monday morning, I'm not going to work. It took me three hours to get home tonight. It's one thing on a Friday, when I know I have the next day off, but there's no way I'm willing to do this and have to go to work the next day.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Oh hell no. Just tell them you can't make it in. We get shafted enough in this part of the country by never getting snow days. Take a flood day.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

so, MM had three FCOTD, I had a ridiculous day at the theatre

I had three separate patrons standing in the aisles where the actors enter and exit, volunteers that didn't know what the hell was going on, six late patrons who didn't want to wait for their proper seating time. it was RIDICULOUS.

WTF, bitches? Three posts in six hours? I know it's a Friday night, so you'd BEST be out getting your fun on and storing up stories to post so when i wake up in the morning there are crazy stories about what you were out doing tonight!!

Here, I'll start:

So, I took a nap. (I know, that's not a good start, right?). But then I drove to the bar and there was a magic parking space that I didn't have to pay for even though I was late, and because it was a nice evening out the place wasn't packed, and the dancing was fun, and we discussed the "trolling for hos", but really R, E (who was tipsy off two drinks because she hadn't had dinner), GILF, "Wallflower" and I ended up hanging out after the country music, dancing for a while (they switch to gayboy discotrance). Wallflower proved to have intriguing hidden depths, and be quite adept at shaking what her momma gave her. And told me she is signed up for a pole dancing class starting in July. I asked for more details. Hmmm. Then we went to go get E some food, and had delicious spicy polish sausages from some street vendor. And then we sat eating them in a park, and had fake (verbal) fights with each other to entertain passersby (who were arguing with each other). One group turned around and came back and started asking us if we were in a drama class. Hee. E and R ended up wrestling.

So we did not end up trolling for hos. Though at one point I declared that since I was wearing a miniskirt and fishnets, I might, in fact, BE a ho, and we might need to instead find OTHER people who were trolling for hos.

But we have a plan for what we'll do another week, and where we will go, etc. But next week is Pride, so not then.

I gave E a ride home, and we were chatting about the GILF, and in the course of conversation she was like "Did you date [GILF]?" and I'm thinking "Hi, you all met me at the same time, do you really think I managed to keep it THAT on the down low??", but i was like "Uh, NO"

Morning!

The problem with spending the night then waking up and leaving ridiculously early on a Saturday morning? I have NO ONE to call and squee!
