Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
In a mystery novel, this would be the point at which one of you hit the Rake on the head with rock and the four of you bond for life after you hide the body and put together evidence that he defected to the enemy. The wallflower proves to be unexpectedly handy at forgery.
Ginger For the WIN!!
WTF with this 'your style is not dykey enough' bullshit?WTF with this 'your style is not dykey enough' bullshit?
Heh. Well, truth is, girl COULD seriously use a Stacey-and-Clinton style makeover of some sort. Not that I have the faintest idea of how to do that and still be within her comfort zone, as I barely know the girl, and she seems happy with her comfortable wallflower style (though she did admit she would be interested in being perceived as more lesbian, without having to cut her hair short (she has waist-length hair)). I felt I had no good suggestions, as I do not generally get ID'd walking down the street. Further suggestion was given as "Ooh!" [stand me next to very butch friend] "Dyke!" [stand not near butch friend] "Not dykey"
Snazzy new haircuts, otoh, are great for your self image. My God, I've NEVER had so many compliments on a haircut in my LIFE!
Whoot!!
Doing these will help you understand the middle steps that we haven't in any way addressed."
...do you think she's related to the woman I've been "training" with lately, from LA?
Connie, I do live here. And you're completely right; were it to be 100 degrees, I would be complaining about that as well. I'm a temperate climate sort of person. I need to relocate myself to somewhere that would accomodate this a little better. Mild summers, mild winters. If only.
You guys, I really don't want to work today. I'm tired. Aw, who am I kidding? I don't want to work any day.
Are you taking anything, like Prilosec?
What does that do? I tried the Gas-X and it does nothing! (much like the goggles)

Depends on how you define "related". Personally, I think most middle managers are grown in vats in a secret laboratory in the Nevada desert.
The secret ingredient is evil. Stupid, stupid evil.

wrod. I grew up in Pennsylvania, which is supposed to be temperate, but 90 degrees with 80% humidity is not temperate.
I wonder what the market for tech support is in Seattle, probably saturated.
Still, Fall in Utah is gorgeous. I'll need to find out of the car is up to some canyon blasting come September.

It decreases the amount of acid the stomach produces (if too much acid is your problem).

Please keep in mind that while Fairbanks Alaska has had six days of 70 degree weather in the past two weeks, we have been in the 50s. Seriously.
It is currently 48 degrees here. It's ridiculous. Though for the first time in weeks, the forecast does not look completely and utterly depressing...

I don't think that's it. It's like gas pains times, like, a zillion. It's faded (for now, but maybe for the duration) but if it comes back, maybe I'll try a Zantac, which is something I have on hand for acid situations (which I definitely do get from time to time, but is easily taken care of with the Zantac)

Hi, home! Hey, Fairbanks consistently records temps in the 90s (and sometimes 100s). It just also consistently records temps in the negative 40s and 50s.
SF has been pretty warm lately, which is kind of weird. I was all prepared for summer weather, and then it got sunny and warm! Strange.
