We do have a Tornado Watch Sail and I am just west of Madison too. =(

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
The sirens just went off, I'm by the Alliant Energy Center. We'll see what we will see.
I'm in Fitchburg now, heading to Verona soon. Haven't heard sirens yet.
They just stopped. I'd be careful, still, if you're heading west.
I should probably head out of the cafe soon and into the office. Can put the car underground there.
I've got weatherunderground up in one tab. There's still a large storm cell out to the west, but it looks like it's the last one. So far, the only tornado has sprouted north of here, just east of Portage.
Yeah it looks like the storm cell is right next to the office... crap, that also puts it next to my apartment, double crap.
I just saw a commercial for Clorox Disinfecting Wipes where the mother used the wipe to clean up some spilled maple syrup. Why do you need to disinfect maple syrup?
Allyson, and Tom, I'm awed at your bravery, and that's neither platitude nor rhetoric. Some days it's an act of heroism to haul carcass out of bed, run soap and water over it, cover it well enough to be decent in polite society, and force it to go out among the other humans. And that's with lightweight psychic baggage.
What each of you carries could never be called lightweight, and yet both of you go on, in spite of self-sabotaging messages to just give up, it's not worth it, *I'm* not worth it, just stop.
I'm awed and amazed, and for what it's worth and for how well or not we know each other through this imperfect medium, I love you both. I want wholeness for you. It may not ever be perfect, but it will be sweet.
You're gorgeous inside and out, and worthy of love.
Eep. Those in storm's way, be safe!
Fay, the hair is very pretty, but you make it fabulous. Ask the guy, okay? Life's too short to miss chances out of reticence or fear. A little embarrassment never hurt as keenly as regretting not taking the chance.
