Yeah, any details from this week's issue are whitefonted, in any case.
Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
omnis, email me if you need any help identifying neighborhoods or whatever.
if you have enough food, transport money
I do but it also depends on how soon I'm ready to leave.
That sounds like a bad plan
this is also true
Aims, all our trips to the dentist have been highly traumatic for all of us - Ellie has had two fillings that keep coming out. Each visit has entailed a parent holding her down while she screamed and cried.
I'm not sure why I'm sharing this (maybe to warn you)- I hope Em's visit goes much better. I think a non-filling visit/cleaning would have been way less stressful. The upside to all this trauma is that Ellie willingly brushes her teeth when asked.
I guess the whole thing reminds me of the first time they needed a urine sample from Ellie. I had no idea how they would do it and was rather surprised.
Ugg. Stupid work. Just got this note from old employer benefits person:
Your medical does end at the end of this month. I really don’t know what drugs I was taking yesterday.Ugg. Well, looks like one month of COBRA after all.
:: slump ::
That sucks omnis. Well, at least it's not more than that. When I was unemployed and had to do COBRA, it was equal to about half my monthly checks.
Ugh, omnis. At least it's only one month.
I've got two things I'm supposed to go to this weekend. A barbecue with friends on Saturday, and a meetup with internet vegans on Sunday. I'm not sure I have two days worth of social. I guess I'll see how I'm feeling after Saturday.
Evelyn has had one visit to the dentist, around her 4th birthday. (I know, bad mama.) It was fine - the hygenist talked to her first and explained stuff, she got to pick a pair of sparkly pink sunglasses to wear in the chair because of the light, made no complaints about the cleaning, and got a toy plus a toothbrush afterwards. If your practice has someone who is used to kids and this is just a cleaning, it should be fine. If you want to hedge your bets by packing the sparkly sunglasses (which our practice provided) so much the better!
If you don't need to use insurance during any insurance gap, you don't need to spend any money on COBRA. Check the cost of your prescriptions and see.

If you don't need to use insurance during any insurance gap, you don't need to spend any money on COBRA. Check the cost of your prescriptions and see.Thankfully I have no prescriptions. But, if my gallbladder acts up, or I get another nasty blockage or some such, I do not want to be without insurance. Tomorrow I have my exit interview with the head of the benefits folks. Hopefully she will have a better sense of it all.
