[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Jars! Where you been, lady?

Where you been, lady?

All about the place! Well, not really. I was off work all last week touring around Ireland with DH's best friend who flew over from New York. Plus, yesterday was a bank holiday. Today was the first day I've been up before eleven in... a while.

How is everyone else? I may have had to skimpity a few hundred posts...

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I think I found the problem.

PIZZA BURRITO

Drew, this Saturday, I had a WASABI BURRITO.

It contained "crispy fish fillet," Mexican rice, cucumber, and guacamole...with ginger-teriyaki sauce and dollops of wasabi mayonnaise.

All wrapped in seaweed.

And then wrapped in a spinach tortilla.

It was so bizarre. And I could barely taste any fish.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I could barely taste any fish

that seems (to me) to be its only redeeming quality.

All the tags I took off my undies say, "VSD". I kept reading it as, "Victora's Secret Dog".

Ann, that's a ferret.

well pet owners are an interesting bunch. My brother and his wife are now up to 5 cats (they were up to 6 until very recently), and have at various points had to deal with extended feuds going on between them (which started between a brother and sister from the same litter who already been raised and together in the same house for years at this point).

During the worst of it, my brother literally set up screen doors INSIDE the house to keep them apart when no one was home.

We use a folded up crate. We're at that point where we're trying to figure out how to re-introduce the feuders to each other.

I've been meaning to post this since it arrived in my mailbox (for utterly unknown reasons)-- Food in a tube seems to a be a Hungarian thing. I was merely being true to my heritage.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Eeep. $800 in car repairs. I had mentally prepared myself for about $600. I know it's only $200 more, but $800 just seems like a whole lot.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

You can still take the freeway and have to deal with the traffic. They just have a tollway instead of HOV lanes.

Most of the friends we have there have only been there a couple of years, so they could be wrong, but they didn't seem to think this was the case. We only knew how to get places based on what they were telling us.

Yow.

that seems (to me) to be its only redeeming quality.
