True, ita. I hadn't thought of that.

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
The iguana *is* nifty looking -- bright green -- and looks like it got lost in the time stream and came out millions of years ahead of where it should have.
"God DAMN it. I shouldda turned left at the Mezzosoic. Wait...what's God?"
We have a number of large iguanas that stroll around the neighborhood. They can be aggressive. They also hibernate when it gets chilly which freaks people out because it looks like they all died in their tracks. You can send him to me and I shall let him free!
Teppy, good luck with the extra house guests.
Cheesy eggs:
Bless ita for the reminder of all the pretty that is so close at hand.

Right?
Guest Cat is still pissed this morning (yowling, hissing), which seems weird to me since she lived here for a long time and I would think that the smells would be familiar.
Guest Dog is being well-behaved, no thanks to our dalmatian, who has sworn a jihad against Guest Dog. Our coon hound (who is the alpha) is kind of indifferent to Guest Dog, as long as she doesn't raise a ruckus with him, which she hasn't, so far. Our 2 cats are annoyed with us for bringing in New Animals without asking them first.
The iguana continues to look freaked out, which is making me think that's just her normal expression.
And I continue to cross my fingers that Friend's house doesn't get nuked from orbit while he's gone.

Opened coffee grinder before it stopped whirring. Result of dumbosity? COVERED in freshly ground coffee - including in shoes.

That is weird.
I was a little worried when Bastet came and visited in December because she and Toto never really did get along. But, they were totally fine. Toto quickly remembered her and completely stayed out of her way. It was kind of funny actually.
I hope it goes smoothly, Steph.

How is it I have never visited your neck of the woods?
I'm not gonna lie. Iguanas freak me out. I gave them their space when I was in St. Thomas. I took lots of pictures (even a video or two), but I let them do their thing.
