What should I do, then? Send her a gift? Sacrifice? … Unholy fruit basket?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Mostly lurking...

ps - the mad was in addition to all the other items that render someone uninsureable... what's next? sorry, can't insure you because you're: (a) female, (b) human, (c) breathing...

Yeah. That's despicable.

I'm getting the pig!

I'm babysitting from noon until five today - which means that I have a little over an hour left until her parents come to pick her up. Dear Gods, let it go by quickly. Pleasepleaseplease.

Never. Again. From now on I'll be sticking with infants. No toddler rule is back in effect.

Now tagless for your comfort.

BWAHAHAHA.

Nicole, I feel your pain.

On a daily basis.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

What's mindboggling is this:

The higher rate is based on a Caesarean costing an average of $2,700 more than a vaginal birth

So they're fucking with people's lives over a hypothetical cost that could be wiped out with a single sprained ankle anyway?

I'm getting the pig!

I don't know how you do it, Cash. I just... I don't.

My usual rule is once they hit the one year mark, I'm out. No more babysitting, fewer visits to the house, etc. My girlfriend Laura, however, has these big brown eyes and she looks all sweet and innocent when she says, "Adison will just sit and play quietly the whole time we're gone."

LIAR! Cranky two year old crying jag since about 15 minutes after mommy and daddy left.

I'm getting the pig!

We've watched Bee Movie and Unaccompanied Minors. We've played Hand Adison One Piece Of Cereal At A Time. She's had two 4oz bottles because she hasn't been feeling good. She's tired as all heck, but she's just basically fighting sleep.

Can a two year old have grapes? Are there allergy issues with grapes and toddlers?

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Trying to remember the advice on grapes. Can't think of allergy issues, just choking - so cut them in half?

Yeah, I was feeding Annabel halved grapes long before she was two, probably before she was one.

I'm getting the pig!

Thanks, Suz. I'll try to keep her entertained with the last of the cereal. I just know she's going to zonk out five minutes before parents show up. Grr.

How are you, hon? Everything as hectic as ever?

eta: You just answered that in Natter. Nebbermind.
