They should film that story and show it every Christmas.

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired

My friends need to stop moving away now, please.

Yes. This. Maybe we need new deodorant or something.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Hey! California has sucked up enough Buffistas from other places. Time to let the rest of us have a shot.

All is well that ends in pizza.

The good thing is that no matter where they move, Buffistas will always have dual citizenship. Where they live, and here on Buffista Island.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Congratulations on the upcoming adventure, Omnis.

PixKristin, congrats to you on the piddly-paying easy summer teaching gig.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

omnis, congratulations and good luck!

Cashmere, yay buy out!

We're headed home now from vw's lovely party. There was much fun, good food, and wonderful margaritas. vw makes one very delicious carrot cake.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Have you reverse engineered Gene's plans yet?

Before anybody gets too happy about following Gene's plans, it is maybe worth remembering that a) in order to separate your body into its component atoms, it must first be heated to a temperature hotter than the sun, and b) once you have been so separated, your bits are then effectively squirted through a tube (the Annular Confinement Beam).

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

(wonders what it would take to get another Buffista to move to St. Louis)

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

b) once you have been so separated, your bits are then effectively squirted through a tube

And as we all know, the internet is a whole series of tubes! We could travel by broadband!

Mostly lurking...

o_a, that's HUGE! Congratulations!

Go, Kristin!

Party over. Me sleepy. Much fun was had. My thesis buddy's adorable little sister was the "official photographer." I can't wait to upload these pictures and share. They are so priceless. My favorite is the one of the cake in the fridge.
