It's good to have cargo. Makes us a target for every other scavenger out there, though, but sometimes that's fun too.

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sounds like having your name put on the do not call list should be part of the package when getting a phone, Victor.
Sadly not the case. When I got my mom a cell, she was getting spanish phone calls for a long time. They didn't seem to believe she 1) didn't speak spanish, and 2) that the person they were wanting to talk to didn't have that number anymore. @@

There used to be a significant waiting period before a number was recycled. NSM anymore.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Yep. www.donotcall.gov

Ever since I moved and got my new number, I keep getting debt collector calls. At least 1 per week. For several different people. All not me. It gets annoying.

One and half days of school!!! Only one and a half!!

One of the reasons I became a teacher is the lifestyle changes it brings, but now that my first summer is just one and a half days away, it seems odd. Like, I'm playing hooky or something.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I'm home, there is a massive lightning-and-thunder-and-rain-apalooza going on outside. The cats are jumpy.

Andi got off work an hour ago and is still not home.

She works 12 miles away, 18 through the detour.

Where is she? I hope she pulled over somewhere.

Sirens just went past.

t trying not to call her cell phone and bug her in this rain.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

So very jealous of you , ChiKat! I only have a week or two, but the pile o'grading is making me want to cry. Still, I can at least work from home tomorrow and Monday, so that's something.

I have been coughing like crazy today. Bad post-pneumonia day. I'm not sure if it's allergies or what.

ETA: Oh Daniel, scary! Come home safe~ma for Andi.
