It wouldn't happen until June, but still another 2% or 3% sure would be nice.
Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Health~ma to EVERYONE. Oy vey.
OK, keep your fingers crossed. Today could be a very ... um.. interesting day at work.
Ok. Party is getting rescheduled. Anyone know how to do a reschedule in evite?

Ack, I don't know, but I'm very sorry to hear your body is treating you poorly again. I know Jon B. uses evite's - you might email him directly.
vw, you can just go to your invitation and edit whatever you want about it -- when you save the changes, it'll give you the option to send the update out to your guest list (certainly recommended for a date change, but it gives you the option to skip the emailing if you've just made some text or design tweaks.)
Gotcha. Just did that. Also going to e-mail everyone who had RSVPed as yes.
And, my thesis buddy was actually relieved when I asked about rescheduling. She's got some things she still has to finish up before graduating and this gives her some breathing room too. We were both pushing through for the party this weekend for the other person, which kind of cracks me up.
Oh, for crying out loud. I totally just spaced out on my therapy appointment. I suck!
Oh, Nora! Poor you!
Good news from me -- I just took a part time job helping install fiber optic internet in schools all over California. Two to three days a week, with some paid travel up and down the state, usually just for one or two nights, and complete and total flexibility to work the other gigs I already have booked or might get.
For $30 an hour to start.
Plus, (and you might be interested in this, Drew), I'll be learning how to terminate fiber optics. And so yet another job skill will be added to my repertoire.
You know what's annoying?
When someone asks you to arrange a meeting, and you painstakingly contact everyone on a list, find the best possible time for the group, reserve a room, and send out an email notification--and then two days later get a message from the person who asked you to do all this, saying that the group that you'd scheduled for next Wed. at 10:30 will be meeting Thurs. at 10:00, and can you please let the group know? With no explanation, apology, or even acknowledgment that you'd arranged something different.
I like N, but she keeps DOING things like this. Last time it was telling interns at orientation that they should meet in a certain place the next day even though I'd listed a different room on the schedule, because the place she told them is where we'd had the group meet for the past two units.
I mean, why have me around to manage all this administrative/operational crap if you're not going to let me DO it?
