What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

BSG

They're both pretty bad! I regret that I lost my Moral Compass during my Cylonization, or I would declare myself Heloier-than-thou and reverse whatever decision you make, just for fun.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

BSG

I'm inclined to double down on Dee being human and take the damage. For no good reason, really, though I think that if Dee is a Cylon and we choose the damage we end up better off than if Dee is a human and we execute her. I haven't done a thorough analysis on the possibilities, but that's my feeling.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

BSG

I'd also have to discard some pretty useful cards in order to avoid giving Helo the chance to damage Galactica anyway were I to execute Dee.

Ooh, holding the constant threat of Sabotage over you is pretty fun. Enjoy those Treachery cards! Especially you, my secret Cylon partner.

I'm going to wait a little longer to give Ellen and Starbuck a chance to chime in. Dee, am I correct in assuming you don't want to die and wake up as someone else? You'd get a new OPG.

You only get to use the OPG OPG, even if you get a new character.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Answers to some rules issues:

At least the jump track advances?

Correct. This Crisis has a jump icon.

edit- so on the off chance the damage hits in the same area twice, we lose? What happens if we go for Pegasus and she gets blown up with me on her?

Second question first. if the location (or indeed entire ship) that you're on blows up, you go to Sickbay. Each location can only be damaged once at a time - if the Engine Room (say) is damaged, it's not an option for further damage until it's repaired.

Pegasus can take four hits, so it wouldn't be blowing up yet.

This is correct. In addition, if Pegasus is destroyed, it doesn't end the game. You can continue with just Galactica. (If Galactica gets destroyed - which takes six hits - the Cylons win.)

Wait, why are you in CIC? I thought you were in the Engine Room.

Also correct. I'll update the records. (Either location may be hit by damage.)

I know there's possibility of losing Fuel if Galactica is damaged, is that also the case if Pegasus is damaged?

Galactica includes Food and Fuel stores that may be hit if damaged. This is not the case for Pegasus. If Pegasus is damaged, only her four locations are valid targets.

I'd also have to discard some pretty useful cards in order to avoid giving Helo the chance to damage Galactica anyway were I to execute Dee.

Should Gaeta discard Treachery and Helo play a Sabotage, Dee would once again (as current player) choose whether to apply the damage to Galactica or Pegasus.

Dee, am I correct in assuming you don't want to die and wake up as someone else? You'd get a new OPG.

This is incorrect. Each player gets only one OPG. If your character is executed and you've used your OPG, you don't get to use the new character's OPG. (On the other hand, if you haven't used your OPG, the new character's OPG will be available. One exception: if you choose Baltar after the Sleeper phase, his OPG is not available in any case.)

Now I can't see any benefit to executing Dee.

Evasive Manoeuvres! (or however you spell that)

I choose option 2.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

BSG

Sheesh. I have nothing to add, really, except that if I hadn't thought Dee had a chance of being innocent, I wouldn't have tried to help her out of the brig. That still holds, and of course, I don't like anyone to die.

Well, okay, that's not true. I'm good with plenty of my ex-lovers dying, and I'm pretty good with lots of pretty men on battlefields dying in dramatic ways, pledging me their eternal troth. But you know, in an immediate sense, I don't like anyone to die.

I'm sure we can get the Chief to patch up any damage...oh, wait, where's the Chief? You know, that bastard never is around when you need him.

Perhaps he could be, if you find the right person to execute...

The Admiral has chosen to damage Galactica twice! Or maybe Pegasus. Dee, how would you like to manage the damage?
