I know it's only 1 distance but our other choice would have cost us fuel.
I don't know of any destination choice that doesn't cost fuel that gives us distance. Not saying there isn't one.
The idea was to go two distance for one fuel and get us one jump away from winning. The jump to Kobol doesn't cost us anything.
I'm glad we managed to up our critically low fuel reserves, but I'm not sure I like that we've got two jumps worth of Cylon treachery to deal with instead of one.
In any case... No XO draw this time, so on to plan B.
Move: None
Action (A): Launch into Sector 6.
Action (B): Play a Launch Scout 2 on the Crisis Deck

Starbuck is scouting the Crisis Deck.
Die roll = 1. Fail.
Ooh, that's an unfortunate one to miss. You know what Cylons really hate? Being mocked through wordplay. No sense of humour, those guys. Your Crisis is:
The Guardians
Cylon Attack
That concludes Starbuck's turn. I'm sending out Dee's cards. Easy enough to find her right now after all. Dee, when you're ready, please post your orders.

HELLO FRIENDS!
BSG
Whoa. That's a lot of attack.

I'd like to do a check to get out of the brig. Anyone willing to help with that? If we get jumped by the cylons again my abilitiy to deal with the civvies is good to have.
BSG
yerg! Why couldn't we have gotten that crisis just before jumping?
aw crap. I was thinking I could help a lot with the debriggenation but I'd forgotten I used my Strategic Planning to secure us more fuel. I can only help a little.
BSG
Well, crap. I guess the idea is try to cripple the basetstar without destroying it. This is going to be a long slugfest until we can jump again.
Before we start Dee's turn, I'm tempted to use my OPG to bury the crisis and get a different one, but I think we might be better served hanging onto that in case we get a crisis that threatens fuel. What do the rest of you think?

Hey, you're the one who hit up the Engine Room. I'm washing my hands of it.

We'll hold off on the brig check until Starbuck makes a decision on her OPG. Meanwhile, everyone can send me COs for interrupts and card play on Dee's escape attempt.
