I'm sorry, dad. You know I would never have tried to save River's life if I had known there was a dinner party at risk.

yerg! Why couldn't we have gotten that crisis just before jumping?

Hey, you're the one who hit up the Engine Room. I'm washing my hands of it.

Before we start Dee's turn, I'm tempted to use my OPG to bury the crisis and get a different one, but I think we might be better served hanging onto that in case we get a crisis that threatens fuel. What do the rest of you think?

We'll hold off on the brig check until Starbuck makes a decision on her OPG. Meanwhile, everyone can send me COs for interrupts and card play on Dee's escape attempt.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

BSG

On further reflection, I am going to use my OPG here. Going a full jump track without being able to destroy any basestars without losing a raptor and morale is going to be incredibly difficult, especially if we get further attack cards on top of this one.

New Crisis, please, Mr. GM.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

BSG

I approve of your decision, Starbuck.

You know how monkeys have a cry that means "Eagle" and a cry that means "Jaguar" and another cry that means "EagleJaguarGetTheFuckOutOfHere"?

EagleJaguar, man.

Eta: whew.

The hybrid in charge of that basestar: [link]

The Cylon ships take note of Starbuck viper wobbling in a threatening manner and jump away; but not before creating a power surge within the fleet. Your new Crisis is:

Jump Computer Failure
Skill Check (7 PB)

Ok, some reset notes. First and foremost, Dee, you don't have those new cards yet. Pretend you never saw them. Next up, this is a skill check, so everyone, you know the drill.

1. Interrupts. You haz them, I wants your orders. ICs and Reckless checks.

2. You can CO me your orders for the check too. Dee will start the check, Starbuck will finish it.

I can help a little with the check, but I can't help but wonder if we want to tank it. Population is our highest resource and the loss of jump prep isn't going to hurt us at the moment.

I can't help at all, so I don't know that I have an opinion on to tank or not...

I can help quite a bit with this check. Does anyone have an IC they can play on this? I'd love to try to ferret out the other toaster if possible.

Also, it looks like you don't have to worry about me having seen my card draw for my turn, I don't seem to have received that email.

I can play an IC if we're going for it.

Eta: no, my records were wrong. I can't.

We do have a lot of food, so throwing this one is an option. I think the only good reason to do this check is with an IC to try to expose the toaster, but it might be best to conserve cards.
