Is the other option in our arsenal using Galactica itself to shoot at stuff? I`m not at my laptop right now. It is far far away, i.e, not on this couch in front of the fire.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

If you get in a viper on your turn, are you able to hand them... Maximum ass-whupping? If so, then maybe we'll risk the Cylon activation this turn, and I'll get you to scout (and possibly try to shoot a Centurion again).

Galactica has its own weapons, which are our best option against basestars but less efficient than vipers against raiders (one Weapnos Control action gets one shot, while one Command action can get two shots). I'm more worried about the five raiders than the basestar right now, though if we get another one, that could change.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

BSG

Well, when I actually look at my cards rather than remembering them (wrong, as it turns out) I can't guarantee maximum ass-whuppage after all. Chief to Command is looking the better choice.

Okeedoke. I play an XO-2 on the Chief. Chief, you have the run of the ship.

Okay, I have a move and an action, right? So that means I have to move to Command and then launch an additional viper in sector 6 for the action? No actual shooting involved this turn. And then on Baltar's turn stuff might move toward the civvies, and on Helo's turn we'd attack with the vipers?

That's correct, although a single activation of Command lets you launch two vipers.

Ah. Ok. One in each launch sector then? Can I do that? Should I?

You can do that. The raiders will go to Sector 6 first, so you could put both new vipers there. Placing one in Sector 5 could come in handy if another attack card puts a basestar further back, though.

Ok. I move to Command and activate it, launching two vipers into Sector 6.

I guess we can always move them later if we need to and they survive. Immediate threat first, I think.
