You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

BSG

I play a DE-3 to lower the difficulty by 2. Pass!

Even with a pass, that basestar still gets activated and launches raiders.

The basestar roll is... an 8! Lucky for the humans, it's the Admiral's Quarters that got hit. Don't figure you'll be needing that anytime soon, although I know the Pradmiral is very emotionally attached to them.

Also, 3 more raiders (that makes 9!) have been launched into Sector 1.

It's true. My quarters are like the son I never had.

Whoo! And hey, go big or go home, right? That was all very dramatic.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Yep, including the interrupts we spent 35 points, 14 cards in total (half our holdings). That was a monster check. (I quite like the Super Crisis mechanism, it makes the game more interesting for the Cylons, and gives the humans one more thing to worry about. The Pegasus expansion adds five more Super Crisis cards, and Cylons can pick up extra SCs. I had one game where the Cylons drew five SCs between them, played four of them, and still lost.)

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

BSG

Hmmm. Holding back a DE to bait the Cylons into playing into the check. I wonder where I saw that one before?

Oh, well. I had a feeling you guys were going to pass it with the number of cards you had and the fact that only Yellow was negative (I was actually suprised that Destiny was negative, even if only barely so.) but I doubted I'd see a better time to use it.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

BSG

Wheee, that was exciting!

Now let's get out of here. Pradmiral, did you say something about helping with jump prep? Should I wait for that or go ahead?
