Okay, I have COs for interrupts on the Destination scouting mission, of which there are none. However, you do have Helo's re-roll.
But, once again, it turns out that you do not need his manly arms as you have rolled...
a 5!
Details on the scouting mission and then the Quorum card to be sent to the Pradmiral.
I've never played Dominion. I'd probably enjoy it a lot - card games have long been a favourite of mine. However, it costs $75 here. My premium card game itch is currently serviced by Race for the Galaxy, which I've played hundreds of times, possibly into the thousands by now, and still come back to it. (I mention this because the one complaint I've heard about Dominion is that its replayability tapers off after a while for a lot of people.)

Bury that destination. Not what we're looking for.

Hmmm, how much is shipping to Aus? It's only $32 on Amazon here. I'm happy to order and reship. I work right next to a post office.

Race for the Galaxy is far more complicated than Dominion, which is pretty simple. However there are something like 25 sets of cards and you only play with 10 at a time so you can change it up for a while, especially as people get stuck in strategies. And Dominion is a far quicker game to play and would be much easier for newbies.

I just checked - Amazon doesn't ship it to Australia. (They use a third party, I assume it's related to that. I've never had trouble getting them to ship to me before, including games.) This is a shame, as I've found Amazon's shipping costs for bulky items to be pretty reasonable, but from other vendors, it adds anywhere from $30 to $50 or more. (I've just been through this sourcing a copy of Battlestar Galactica: Exodus. I could get it from Amazon for under $40 including shipping, but they put back delivery until March. Most other vendors wound up over $60 after adding their exorbitant shipping costs.

I wouldn't call it
far
more complicated (BSG is higher-complexity, and even it pales against wargames or deep Euros like Die Macher; RftG is only middling), but there is a particular
kind
of complication (heavy use of symbols) which some people find more congenial than others. Once the phases and symbols are grasped, though, it's quite smooth and intuitive from there. (Then you get the expansions and see what they do to it.)
It is true that Dominion improves its replayability with the 10:25 ratio. Nonetheless, it's in that context that the complaints about replayability were made. (Obviously it would've been much worse with fewer options.) Now, of course, there are several expansions available. They rate highly, so I'd guess they do a good job in keeping it fresh.
If I had both games, I suspect I'd introduce newbies to Dominion first, but I'd be moving them into RftG too once they seemed ready for it.

Ok, the first Quorum card will come in handy, but we don't need to play it yet.
I will draw another card.
I was intrigued so I looked this up at the USPS. Sadly, there is no parcel post equivalent, but here are the maximums for Intl First Class small packages:
- Up to 64 ounces.
- No more than 24 inches long.
- No more than 36 inches in combined length, height, and depth.
Here's the dimensions of Dominion according to Amazon:
Product Dimensions: 11.8 x 2.9 x 11.8 inches ; 3.2 pounds
Shipping Weight: 4.8 pounds
Why do we think the product weight is 3.2 but the shipping weight is 4.8?
Note: If I could send it First Class, shipping to Australia would be $24.
ETA: Hah! That should have been $24, not $4.

Okay, the Pradmiral now has lots of varied bits of information. Will it help him face the next crisis? Who knows? Oh, wait, I do.
Look out! It's an
Unidentified Ship! (10 PR)
Details to come in email.

The fail result on this isn't so bad. However, we don't need to make a decision on whether we try for it until after Starbuck plays.
Pass on interrupts

Just a reminder that I need to hear from humans about interrupts before proceeding with this check. Blue SRs and Yellow ICs could be played.
After that, Starbuck will be first up.
COs welcome.
