Um, well, we listened to aggressively cheerful music sung by people chosen for their ability to dance. Then we ate cookie dough, and talked about boys.

There are indeed a bunch of interesting cards; but there'll be other bunches. I pass on using my OPG.

Ok Doc, may I suggest a change of plans? The Chief is sitting right there in FTL; let's get him to punch that button and clear out of here!

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

BSG

Wow. Okay. Wow. Didn't expect that big of a blowout there.

I agree, Admiral. Now would be a very good time to leave. While the Chief is a very good at what he does, I'm perfectly capable of pressing a button myself.

Move: FTL Control.

Action: Jump the Fleet.

What was that? The Olympic Carrier said they're having trouble resolving the jump coordinates? That's terrible, though in my defense it was the Admiral's idea to jump before all ships reported in. In any case, I'm sure it's just a temporary glitch and they'll catch up in no time.

ETA: Pass on interrupts.

Note: With this FTL Control jump, you risk population via a die roll. If a 1-6 is rolled, you will lose 1 population.

After I hear from everyone on interrupts (I believe Strategic Planning is the only one in effect here), I will roll the die, adjust population if necessary, remove all ships from the board, and send the Admiral his choice of destinations.

Well, hello there, Dr. President, sir, nice to see you. Mind you don't get your sleeve dirty pressing that button. I don't care who does it, as long as someone does!

If Baltar'd been able to XO me, we would have gotten an extra action out of it, but I didn't have anything particularly useful I could have done with the second action anyway, so it's just as well. I just want to be out somewhere with a little breathing room in the sky, and pronto.

Oh, go ahead and jump, Galactica, I'll just rescue myself and get myself to where you're headed as if by magic. Don't worry about me.

Actually, we do in fact, have an SP in play.

Your Admiral is acting all large and in charge and has stepped up to the plate with a P3. Good thing because the roll is in fact a 5. With the SP, however, that makes 7 and a clean jump, Helo aside. (I'm sure they'll find you, really.)

Booyah! Who's your daddy? Well, obviously Starbuck is like the son I never had, but with this jump I'm extending my paternal duties to the rest of the fleet. So, um... clean your room, curfew's at 11, um, and I guess it's about time we had that talk. See, citizens of the fleet, when a man and a woman face total annihilation and need to repopulate the human race, they... Ah... Um. You know what? Here's some helpful printed material. I'm sure you'll work it out from there.

Damn. I wish Helo were back, he never seems to have any trouble with this stuff. Though I'm pretty sure that there should be more to it than "Get a load of these guns."
