We have a pass on interrupts (fastest EVER! thank you CO's!)
We need a roll of 3 or higher for success. Random die roll gives us a roll of:
1
! Yikes. Sorry charlie. Seems y'all haven't launched enough raptors, and with Boomer in the land of appliances, you send a RSV pilot up instead. Poor bugger didn't realize he was in a Red tunic, and crashed & burned. Lucky for team human, he didn't damage anything else.
Despite the destroyed raptor, it was a good turn! Good team work Humans. Excellent use of bonus actions. We have half the damaged areas repaired!
Now onto the Crisis Card. Yikes. I really wish that Die roll was in your favor.
FOOD SHORTAGE
President's Choice between two bad options.
Details to be e-mailed shortly.
(and yes, you have had this type of card three times before. And for those who know, there are FOUR of these cards in the deck. So this should be the last time you see this card, unless we make it all the way through all the crisis cards and need to reshuffle. Which I really can't imagine happening.)
ETA:
fixed error on options. No skill check option on this card.

This is not remotely funny anymore. (Not that it was even a little bit funny to begin with.)
This is going to be an incredibly painful discard, but I can't see us risking losing 2 food. Even if this is the last Food Shortage, there's still probably some other Water Shortages out there, right?
What else is left that could hit food?

Yes, there are still 2 unplayed water shortages left in the deck.
What else is left that could hit food?
Of the unplayed Crisis Cards (In alpha order):
- If you fail "Legendary Discovery"
- Fail of "Missing G4 Explosives"
- Fail of "Prison Labor"
- President Choice "Rescue Caprica Survivors"
- Fail of "Resistance"
- Admiral Choice on "Riots" x2
ugh, yeah #2 seems like the only choice to me. What do the rest of us humans think?

GM note.
If
option 2 is the final option, Mr. President, please post the cards you are tossing. Chief, once that is done, please post which cards you would like to toss.
well that's 3/4 of us in agreement. No point in delaying the inevitable.
BSG
I choose option 2 and discard everything, lemme dig up my cards and post official-like. Hey, at least the jump track advances.
BSG
This sucks. Discard G3, B3, B2.
Whee, there goes 15 points in cards between us.
I really, really dislike that so many of the Crisis cards that hit food seem to require you to choose between either losing food and a bunch or cards, or losing even more food.
I'm sure I'm wrong, but I don't think we've seen much that actually give you a chance to not lose any food beyond the Incoming Nukes super crisis.
BSG
Thank you folks for those card picks. Sorry to see them go. They made such pretty rainbow colors in my spreadsheet here. But hey, no damage, and things got fixed.
