As a technicality, don't I have to make my choice of whether we are doing a check before we ask for interrupts?

Yes, that's why I said e-mail. I'm just trying to keep this thing rolling, and interrupts slow things down the most.

I have no way of helping with this check. I have no cards, no help, no interrupts, just a flask of homebrewed ambrosia and a pair of Ellen's underpants.

We know the Cylons very likely have red cards, probably high scoring ones, they could use to sabotage this. We also know they will want us to spend as many cards as possible to try and resolve this.

While I do not like losing Food, it looks to me like the two choices are most realistically:

Definitely lose 1 food

Definitely lose 2 food and a bunch of cards we could use later.

It huuuurts though because the resource is so low.

I don't envy Helo this choice. All I can say is good luck, and I will stand by what you decide.

So, instead of Jimi Hendrix, you're hearing The Pretenders?

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I can help with the check, but with how low we are on cards and the difficulty, plus the chromeheads tossing in cards to "help", I just don't see us passing it. I see taking the -1 food, as much as it hurts, as the best option.

Sadly, I agree. With everyone leaning that way, I choose the -1 Food option.

Therefore, we will not have a check and not need to use interrupts.

Let's hope that Tigh gets a decent draw and we can up our food this next turn.

Oh, shiny new cards, I hate to part with you so soon, but...

President Zarek! Get the quorum brainstorming on how we can improve our food supplies. And I don't mean arguing and whining, I want results!

Move: Nowhere. I like the chemistry supplies in the lab. My still's starting to work quite nicely.

Action: Play a G1 to XO Zarek.

Let the record show that the Admiral is getting high on his own supply.

I'm assuming Zarek will first draw a Quorum card and then play one. Perhaps even twice.

I don't know what cards you have, but gaining food is obviously first priority.

If you don't have two Food Rationing cards, you might consider using one of the quorum cards that allows you to draw more cards (since we probably won't be activating either Admiral's Quarters or Administration, they will have no other effect).
