(Sorry, missed this in the churn..)

Oh, you weren't joking about the shiny coin.

Heh. I mean, harrumph, of course not!

Is Get Lamp coming to theatres? Netflix seems to be so far unaware of it.

Not as such, but he is screening an abbreviated version at schools & cons for a while: [link] I know it's available for rent at Scarecrow Video in Seattle so you might try more esoteric places; I dunno if it's likely to turn up on Netflix.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

BSG

No interrupts from me and I'm fine with intentional fail since I can't really help.

No interrrupts.

Omnis, I know it's late in the game, but when there's two pass levels, could you please post both difficulties in the thread?

It may be worth making the 9 skill check; there's no point in going to 13.

I don't like losing any resources right now. At the same time, we can afford slightly to lose morale. Really, I can see it both ways.

That said, I can help very little during the check. Those of you keeping score at home will note I had no cards when I drew last turn, my regular draw is 2g 3p, and one of the cards I recently played was a G1.

Well, let's wait and here from Chief, but, even at 9, I'm leaning towards failing.

Note: Destiny is unlikely to help as 2 greens and 1 yellow have already shown up in the last two checks.

And then there's the toasters.

DQ, I'm happy to. But there are some restrictions due to copyright reasons that I limit what is said on the cards in public forums. BT has a better sense on that, so I'll let him let me know if it's kosher to do that. If it is, no problem.

I can help a lot with the check, though I don't have an IC to contribute. The Cylons will certainly make the check tougher with 3 colors to choose from. However, Boomer seemed very excited about the idea of lowering morale and mentioned that a lot of the Super Crisises target it. While having a morale of 6 is probably safe, I have to worry about conceding too many resources.

Though if people really don't think we can even hit the 9 (and if it's going to be a shot in the dark without an IC) then I say we save our cards for the next crisis.

I don't think Boomer said that, but it's not exactly true. Morale is on 2 of the 5 Super Crisis cards (-1 on one, -2 on another). Assuming these were drawn, only one could potentially be played in the upcoming round as Apollo has not even revealed yet. Also, about 1/4 of the quorum cards allow us to try to increase morale, so it's likely we could address the loss in this round.

Morale is on a bunch of regular crisis cards, but again, I think at this point I'd rather save cards for scouting that deck and the toaster double play coming up. I could use an IC, but then I wouldn't really be able to help with the check. Plus, I'd rather save the IC for a more dire crisis, especially if a super crisis card does get played imminently.

Remember, one reason we have had so many open checks is because El Toaster and I got lucky with the press room. We actually won't be drawing much yellow in the future.

Morale is on 2 of the 5 Super Crisis cards (-1 on one, -2 on another).

Small correction: only one Super Crisis card can cost Morale (Bomb on Colonial One).

Believe me, I was not doing that from memory. Fleet Mobilization also costs Morale.
