And almost sixty-five percent of that was actual compliment. Is that a personal best?

At least that's one flushed out.

I believe it's Chief's turn next, so provided he's not the other toaster (and I've seen no evidence that he is), he can get FTL repaired stat.

I can only help a very little with the check. However, there's a lot of yellow and green in this group as a whole so we should be able to make this with little problem.

If someone has an IC to spare, that would be good. Not if it would be better used in the check (if someone DOES spike it, it narrows down who it might be and might actually be more revelatory than an IC, but I'm not sure if that's worth the risk to morale loss). ETA: Kalshane, saving cards for future crises isn't a horrible idea but I'd rather not take such a big hit to morale.

Surreptitiously replaces saline IV bag with vodka.

Let me get this straight, we can't do anything to save those ships, right? So, we will lose up to 4 population, 3 population and 1 morale/fuel, or 2 population and 1 morale and 1 fuel. But no more food, right?

So, we are just deciding whether to keep cards and intentially fail the check, losing two morale, or whether to try to pass the check. Is this right?

Note: I can call an IC, but I'm not sure whether it is better for me or Chief to do that. If I do, I can only help a little with this check.

I think at this point the humans need to be XOing as much as possible, so I worry about having to spend green on this check.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

One of the 2 Population ships has already been destroyed, so the maximum Population they could contain is 3. Aside from that, it's all as you say. In particular, you can't lose Food from the civvies.

Memo to the Prez: Sorry you now feel like you were shouting into the wind, but we really haven't had many clues to go on. Boomer She who shall not be named was certainly not my #1 suspect. Of course, that model has fooled me before.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

For folks who remember Infocom, or more recent fans of IF, Get Lamp is a fun documentary about text adventures.

Get Lamp sounds fun! Oh, Zork. And Planetfall. And this one time I tried to write a text adventure in computer science class. You played a cockroach who ate clipped fingernails or something.

Oh, you weren't joking about the shiny coin.

The GET LAMP film is Spoiler Free - watch with no worries (Bonus features with spoilers will be clearly marked)

Ha, awesome!

Not BSG:

I will check out Get Lamp. I love infocom games (the name of this forum always makes me so happy).

This is correct. I think I would rather try the check.

Note: I can call an IC, but I'm not sure whether it is better for me or Chief to do that. If I do, I can only help a little with this check.

It is IMHO better for Chief, if he has any, since he will be drawing next turn and he can't have too many cards because his hand limit is lower.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Is Get Lamp coming to theatres? Netflix seems to be so far unaware of it.

Since the BS consensus seems to be "Go for it", I'll play a Y3 Investigative Committee for the check.

Good to hear there's no risk of losing food from the civvies.

ETA: It's a shame there was no jump advancement on this check. If so, it might have been worth it for me to repair and then activate the FTL control. I don't think we're in dire enough straights to activate the FTL at this level and risk 3 population.

Kalshane, you do realize with Boomer turned to the toasters, I am pretty sure you are the ONLY person with Blue cards, right? The one I had I drew from the research lab and haven't had a chance to draw any more since.

Which means if you're a toaster, we're screwed. Have fun screwing!

And if you're not a toaster, I suggest to please fix the FTL as soon as you can thank you very much. Even if we don't activate this turn, I don't want to wait till your turn again, or someone gets a blue card from the research lab, to be able to jump.

Yes, when I said that the humans need to be XOing as much as possible, I was not referring to the Chief, who I assumed would move to the FTL and repair it, just in case.
