The beauty of an open check, we can do it from work. I will update the spreadsheet when I get home.
10 YP
Destiny Deck:
G1, R5 (ouch! -6 so far)
Zarek:
Y1 (-5)
Helo:
P1 (-4)
Tigh:
no cards (-4)
Chief:
Y4 (even stephen)
Apollo:
P2 (+2)
Boomer:
Y2, Y2, Y4
(+10... PASS!)
Congratulations! You all deserve a moral boost, so pat yourselves on the collective backs (no knives please, let's keep it happy for now).
I will finish the rest of the crisis card when I get home and wrap my hands around the neck of the spreadsheet. IIRC, we have some lovely parting shots from those beautiful ships floating off your bow. Then I get to figure out how the jump goes. Maybe I'll take a nip, to help simulate the Admiral there.
hotdogs!
BSG
And the next step in the crisis card. Now that you are all happy on some of the Admirals moonshine, it's time to feel the heat. Let's see what the dice have in store for you. Keep in mind, with a Basestar firing on Galactica, a roll of 4-8 is damage. Here we go.
Basestar #1:
1. Critical miss. peew. peew.
Basestar #2:
6. Yikes. Damage done is:
Armory.
I guess it could have been worse. At least you don't have any boarding party that you have to arm against.
Now to figure out the destination thing.
BSG
Destination choices have been sent to the Admiral. I am waiting on his decision. He wasn't responding too much, and his breath could start a bonfire. He may have been passed out. We shall see.
BSG
"Reports to the contrary, my belch did not accidentally ignite our fuel reserves, and anyone continuing to joke about it will be sent to the brig. As soon as my office with the incarceration papers in it is fixed. -hic- Anyway, I've instructed Mr. Gaeta to set course for a place where we can hopefully refuel. Get a raptor prepped and ready for scouting and recovery."
I'm sure our illustrious GM will be along to confirm my choice, but I have sent in my decision, and we are heading Distance 1 to a Tylium planet for the opportunity to possibly refuel. We may lose some fuel getting there, but I preferred those chances to the other alternative course.
BSG
Now I'm really sorry we didn't get to scout the Destination Deck. Moving only 1 Distance is a very bad result.
BSG
I'm here. Sorry I didn't help more with the previous check. I had COs to Declare Emergency but thanks to Boomer we didn't need to send the Quorum on a beer run.
BSG
Everyone brace yourself. The Admiral has been hitting the sauce. This could be a bumpy ride. I think there are lawas about Drinkin' 'n' Jumpin', but, when you are the Admiral, you get to make your own laws, I suppose.
As mentioned, we have traveled a distance of
1.
to a lovely place called: Tylium Planet. Rumor has it, you can use the Tylium in a booze still. I dunno about those things. So as we come out of FTL, we are faced with the following:
-1 Fuel.
Admiral may risk 1 Raptor: Roll 1-2 → lose Raptor; 3-8 → +2 fuel.
The Admiral said he wants to risk a Raptor. Now the curious thing is, the Raptor pilot is Boomer. Boomer knows this isn't going to be easy. So she plays a
P4
to make the roll easier. Heck. It makes it a slam dunk. But we will roll for the heck of it. And the roll is:
8!
Wow, critical HIT! Add a 2 to that, and we have a 10. Which means we get to adjust our fuel
+2!
So with a travel distance of 1, we are back to the original starting point on fuel. It's like the Edgar Winter Group song. Free Ride!

How I enjoy seeing those empty skies.
BSG
I'm just glad to be out of the cockpit of that Viper for a bit. It was getting a little ripe in there.
BSG
Yeah, I feel for Chief and his crew. They gotta clean out that cockpit.
Boomer is wanting to scout the deck, as per her abilities at the end of her turn. I am waiting for her decision to keep or bury the top Crisis Card. Once that decision is made, I can advance the turn, and deal the new cards to Zarek.
