Wash: Psychic, though? That sounds like something out of science fiction. Zoe: We live in a space ship, dear. Wash: So?

That's a very painful Destiny. Chief, Apollo, I believe we can still pass this, if you can each help get us part of the way.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

BSG

I only have one card that can help. I play Y4. I hope our pilots can cover the rest.

I can get us part of the way. Can Boomer get us part of the way?

Boomer can. Show us what you've got, Captain.

I believe Boomer has lots of yellow, and there are also interrupts that can be played to lower the skill check. But I would do as much as you can.

Unfortunately, P1 was the best I could do. My purple draw at the beginning was sadder than me electing to stay behind on Caprica.

Hmm, so let's work this out then. Destiny put us at -6, 16 points left to go, nasty. Zarek added 1. Pity that, I'd hoped the President would be leading the opening ceremony, looks like he could only spare Billy for the job. Puts us on -5. Helo next, another 1. A shame, but I don't think he has much else to swing it. Probably only has the cards left to strike manly poses. Puts us to -4.

Admiral's boycotting the proceedings entirely. Fair enough, bound to be enough to drive him to drink, even if he could help. Now, the Chief's making a good showing, looks like the Union of Musicians, Carnies and Bag Check Attendants is on board. Brings us back to 0. And now the captain's organised security, that's up to positive 2.

Hmmm. 8 points to go. The difference between passing and failing is 3 Morale. Zoinks! Can I do this? Let's see, how about:

Yellow-2
Yellow-2
Purple-4

Can I put on a party or what? t accepts the adulation of the 12 Colonies That's right kiddies, Boomer's saved Christmas Colonial Day!

t spends the entire 4 points of Tactics on doing the Electric Slide

This is a good turn. +1 Morale and a jump. (Vibing for a 3 Distance!)

The beauty of an open check, we can do it from work. I will update the spreadsheet when I get home.

10 YP
Destiny Deck: G1, R5 (ouch! -6 so far)
Zarek: Y1 (-5)
Helo: P1 (-4)
Tigh: no cards (-4)
Chief: Y4 (even stephen)
Apollo: P2 (+2)
Boomer: Y2, Y2, Y4 (+10... PASS!)

Congratulations! You all deserve a moral boost, so pat yourselves on the collective backs (no knives please, let's keep it happy for now).

I will finish the rest of the crisis card when I get home and wrap my hands around the neck of the spreadsheet. IIRC, we have some lovely parting shots from those beautiful ships floating off your bow. Then I get to figure out how the jump goes. Maybe I'll take a nip, to help simulate the Admiral there.

hotdogs!

And the next step in the crisis card. Now that you are all happy on some of the Admirals moonshine, it's time to feel the heat. Let's see what the dice have in store for you. Keep in mind, with a Basestar firing on Galactica, a roll of 4-8 is damage. Here we go.
Basestar #1: 1. Critical miss. peew. peew.
Basestar #2: 6. Yikes. Damage done is: Armory.

I guess it could have been worse. At least you don't have any boarding party that you have to arm against.

Now to figure out the destination thing.
