You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Wow, a total cost of just 8 (edit: 9). We got off very lightly.

I have completed my Recon mission, and I choose to leave the card on top.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

BSG

Oh Boomer I'm so sorry, I can't give you the xo you were promised.

edit, oh wait- I draw cards at the beginning of my turn? Sorry I'm so rusty.

It's cool; you're about to draw two more Green, the odds are pretty good you'll draw another one anyway. If not, then you can just activate your office or something and hopefully I can swing an XO down the track.

I think our GM might have gone to bed. I will try to take my turn tomorrow but it is moving day so I can't promise anything.

Of course going to bed is a perfectly reasonable thing to do at 1am. I would do that too if I wasn't still packing.

If you have a fair idea what you want to do, you could send him COs (e.g. "If I get a CO I do X, if not I do Y"). Then you don't need to worry so much about the game tomorrow.

call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

This game seems incredibly complicated! But as I'm not playing I suppose it doesn't matter that I can't figure out what the heck you all are doing or how you are playing. Haha.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

It's especially hard given you can't see the game board or anything. Basically we take turns in order. On your turn you can take an action; the turn ends with a Crisis Card, which is where the key action takes place. Crisis Cards do three things:

1. Present a crisis, which can cost resources (humans lose if a resource falls to 0) or create other choices and challenges.
2. Activate Cylon ships, which try to reach and destroy civilian ships (while Galactica and her vipers try to defend them).
3. Possibly advance the jump track. Reaching the end of the jump track means the fleet jumps. Humans win by making a series of jumps.

The game's basically a race. The humans are trying to make jumps to reach Kobol before they lose all of a key resource or lose some other way.

Finally, and most importantly, it's a team game - humans vs Cylons. However, the Cylons are hidden. They can try to sabotage things from within as long as they remain undetected - then they can throw trouble at the fleet openly. That's really where the fun is - trying to work out who's secretly working against you. (Game 1 was awesome for that.)

There's a bunch of other fiddly stuff (we have nukes!), but that's the framework.
