It's kinda funny watching Jilli run around Chicago tossing grenades and shooting gang-bangers.

Hell, I don't even own any Halo game AT ALL.
Wait for Halo: REACH out in September. Vastly more fun than Halo 3.
As soon as you're not under deadline, we'll have to play some RDR Live, Pete.
Certainly. I actually have a bunch of friends playing the game. I've only dipped into multiplayer once though and decided I'm not going back until I've finished single player. I was seeing locations and using guns that I haven't gotten to in Single player and it all felt kind of spoilery because of it.

I think I'm getting a headache.
My schedule sucks.
I know the feeling, ND. I got Dragon Age: Origins and installed it, but haven't played it further than the opening conversation. I also have Batman: Arkham Asylum, The Orange Box and I think one or two other games that are still shrink-wrapped.
Okay, for those of you playing RDR, after the first third, when you head into Mexico, turn up the sound for a bit. There's a very nice treat.
Is it Tom Lehrer's "In Old Mexico"?
In addition to the surprising Island of Dr. Moreau creatures?
If it's set in Arizona, that could explain a lot.
Note to self: Real-life games of BSG seem to take almost as long as they do here. But they are very fun.

I can't help but notice that a few details seems to be missing from this game report. Who played which characters? Who was a Cylon? Where there acts of great betrayal? How did the game end? Enquiring minds want to know.
I don't know if any of us remember any details, it ended at 4am.
ND, me, Megan Walker, plus two non-board folks. The love couple (non-board folks) were the cylons. She from the first round, and I suspected it rather early when a skill check got spiked, and ND and MW both were playing rather above the board. If they spiked it, they would have been nominated for an Academy Award. There was about 2 whole rounds where no enemies were in the air. Crisis cards were filled with President or Admiral choices. It was rather surreal.
But the love birds were sitting next to each other, they came out in successive rounds. It meant back to back Super Crisis cards. It was difficult. But the game lasted SIX HOURS! It was fun. And even more paranoid than playing in here. Rather captures the spirit of the show. I wish there was more interaction with the civilian ships. Dunno how, but that was certainly part of the show.
We had 3 jumps for a total of 5. Fuel was still in the blue. As of the first cylon revealed, I think all resources were barely in the blue. But then some crucial P/A choice cards killed them. I think it was population that did us in.
MW was Madam President. ND was Pappy Admiral. I was Apollo. She was Helo, and he was Starbuck. Helo was cylon from the start. Starbuck got it at sleeper phase. It was easy to read on his face. He shouldn't play poker. I'm not good at reading tells, but every muscle on his face was tense. It was cute. He spiked an open check to prevent a double FTL advancement that would have resulted in auto-jump. That pretty much outed him, but he didn't play his action, so we brigged him. MW had a small suspicion that she was the other cylon, I had a strong. I tried to get them to brig her, but the others were suspicious I was the other cylon. Sure enough, when her turn came around, she played her card and made me PrAdmiral. Oh ya, ND was PrAdmiral for the bulk of the game.
Hopefully ND & MW can fill in some more details.
