Sweet! Maybe y'all will bee newbie enough that I won't get spanked too bad. While you are at it, look into the Orange Box. You can get it used pretty cheap. It's 4 games in one, and well worth it. And the multi-player is cool.

Whereas my DH bitches at me whenever my friends' names pop up. I think he's just jealous.
(btw, when zone wombat is online playing Lego Star Wars, that's Mal...we saved his games under my account, for some reason)
Likely story.
Y'all know you can turn that off, right? Not that I have myself, for I too enjoy seeing my friend's names pop up when I'm playing (less so when watching a movie).
I'm keeping it on on purpose.
And LSW is totally Mal. Who can now beat me at lightsaber dueling.
wah! My super-tote for games is now too small. All my games fit easily when I moved to Dallas. Now, not so much. No time to get bigger tote. One game will have to leave the heard, and travel back to CA with strange non-game-things so that the others can live and travel, safely in the sealed mega-tote.
I've mentioned this elsewhere but an FYI:
If you want Halo 3 for Campaign, then by all means grab it.
However, if you want Halo 3 just for multiplayer, then grab Halo ODST. ODST comes with a second disc that is Halo 3 multiplayer but better; it contains all the downloadable maps, which DOUBLES the number of maps you have and some of the newer ones are really great.
Also, the ODST disc functions as a invite key to the Halo Reach Beta multiplayer that kicks off on May 3rd and runs for 2 to 4 weeks.
Halo Reach is especially interesting to me as it's Bungie's last Halo game. They spent the last 3 years tearing down and refining the Halo 3 engine, allowing a fivefold increase in polygon count and a substantial improvement in the networking. It apparently runs with less lag than Halo 3 and the leg there is very small (though vital in some kill or be killed instants).
Monster Slayers: The Heroes of Hesiod captures the flavor, fun, and educational benefits of Dungeons & Dragons in a fast-paced, easy-to-learn experience for kids ages six years old and up.
