So, how was your summer? Mine was fun. Saw some fish. Went mad with hunger. Hallucinated a whole bunch.

ARGH!

I've played through Mass Effect 2 twice now. Once as a neutral and once as a paragon. Each time, I lose one person in the final mission, which is keeping me from unlocking an achievement. I've made sure everyone was loyal, I had all ship upgrades, and a paragon score out the wazoo, and yet I still lose someone each time. I think it's because I don't quite have ALL the squad/weapon upgrades. I think I'll have to play it through once more, reimporting my paragon. The main reason I didn't get all the squad/weapon upgrades was that I ran out of credits, but a reimported character starts with a big wad of bonus credits and resources.

I would only think of doing it again, because I'm so close to having a perfect gamer score on this game. 825/1030 right now, with only six achievements still locked.

Of course, one of the achievements is "Play through the game on INSANITY level without ever changing the difficulty," and that one is worth 75 gp, so I may not ever quite get the perfect score on ME2, because who wants to bother with that achievement? But still.... a perfect score is so close (and yet so far away) it's tantalizing.

Also, one of these days, I'll have to post the final stats of my Elissa Cousland, Super-Badass of Ferelden. My Dragon Age rogue who was the toughest front-line fighter in my party. Her stats were kind of obscene by the end (of Origins, not Awakenings - I've only just started into Awakenings).

Sean, I hear ya. Well, sort of. The only game I am close to a perfect score on is Cataan (the board game online!). All that's left is racking up a ton of points in online play, and inviting friends to play. So? anyone want to buy Cataan? It's a xbox marketplace purchase? Then we can each invite the other to a game and knock that one off. It's a fun game. I know I've played some of you in meatspace world.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

It cracks me up seeing your names pop up whenever I'm watching Netflix through the XBox. I always say "Hi" whenever I see your names.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I always say "Hi" whenever I see your names.

I freaked my mom (who is visiting) out the other night when we were watching a movie. I said hi to people as they popped up online. I explained that it was only polite.

Y'all crack me up. Fred was over watching Whip It, when Cass signed on. He is still thrilled that you friended him from the Halo madness fun. But bummed you are never on when he is to play games. Welcome to Xbox! That's how it works. Although Pete came on when we were playing Halo, and joined us, so that was cool.

We still need Halo. Maybe I'll pick it up as a housewarming present to Joe.
