Well, other bands know more than three chords. Your professional bands can play up to six, sometimes seven, completely different chords.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

My vote would be to wait until you get things taken care of, Laga. (Unless the game would be a welcome distraction.)

Our wings are not tired

I wouldn't be able to join a game until after April 28th anyway.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

I wouldn't be able to join until after I'm on the road. The next few weeks will be a bit chaotic.

Sounds like waiting is the consensus.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I'm at wizards.com watching the writers from Robot Chicken play D&D.

Illigitimi non carborundum

That... is awesome (even if I don't like 4th Ed D&D). Was it entertaining?

Not as funny as the Wil Wheaton podcasts but it gave me some ideas for the campaign I'm currently running (and will be picking up tonight). I'm so proud of myself. I actually used paper and tape and colored pencils to make my version of a "robe of many things". It's a coat lined with patches that depict various common objects. If you tear off a patch it transforms into something useful... or it goes horribly wrong. Each patch torn off increases the odds that something bad will happen. I love it when the DM hands me something that my character has and imo this is a very nifty thing. I can't wait to see what the players make of it.

Also cool, one guy is bringing his gf who asked to take on an NPC who was createsd at the end of the last session so she'll fit seamlessly into play and for the first time ever we'll have more girls than boys at the table.

ARGH!

I've played through Mass Effect 2 twice now. Once as a neutral and once as a paragon. Each time, I lose one person in the final mission, which is keeping me from unlocking an achievement. I've made sure everyone was loyal, I had all ship upgrades, and a paragon score out the wazoo, and yet I still lose someone each time. I think it's because I don't quite have ALL the squad/weapon upgrades. I think I'll have to play it through once more, reimporting my paragon. The main reason I didn't get all the squad/weapon upgrades was that I ran out of credits, but a reimported character starts with a big wad of bonus credits and resources.

I would only think of doing it again, because I'm so close to having a perfect gamer score on this game. 825/1030 right now, with only six achievements still locked.

Of course, one of the achievements is "Play through the game on INSANITY level without ever changing the difficulty," and that one is worth 75 gp, so I may not ever quite get the perfect score on ME2, because who wants to bother with that achievement? But still.... a perfect score is so close (and yet so far away) it's tantalizing.
