edit: this is contingent on the spare hard drive you said you might have for me, ND. My poor little home computer doesn't have any free memory. Maybe I should start playing Baldur's Gate as this is what's taking up most of it.

Having finished my deadline I'm back in Liberty City... and just saw something new; after jacking a car - the usual throw the driver out of the vehicle at a red light - the car behind me decided to go all vigilante and started chasing me & ramming me. Quel surprise. I ended up shooting the bugger.

Speaking of, Pete. Is Liberty City still pretty much the same, as far as general layout goes? I'm presuming there has to be some road changes, new construction and whatnot, but the basic layout is still there, yes?
Sean, I have no idea, it's been too long since I played GTA III. Take a look back a couple of hundred posts for a post from Tom Scola about a Google maps version of Liberty City. That link will show you the current map.
Okay, I'm a bit pissed at Fantasy Grounds now. I have paid them to get the licenses and something fubared on their end and now I don't have the codes and my email has not been answered. Nice customer service.

I found it. It's completely different. It's still a series of islands, which is similar, and a small handful of major landmarks seem to be in roughly the same place, but it's clear just from looking at that map there's no way in which knowing the Liberty City from GTA3 would help you know the layout of GTA4. At all.
Also, it's at least an order of magnitude bigger and more detailed.
