Oh, smacked in the noggin with a 2x4 wrapped in velvet. Yeah, that's what it felt like.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Look, here's one now: [link]

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Dragon Age:

I finally picked up Oghren for my party. OMG Y'ALL why didn't anyone tell me he's Jayne? SRSLY!! Once I picked myself up off the floor after some rambling drunk "I'll be in my tent" speech, I promptly went off and made him a very nice weapon that I named Vera. In my head, because the console won't let you do that. And then I came back to the campfire and the little sod yelled ASS CHAPS and fell over the next time I tried to talk to him. HAR!! so totally Jayne.

Our wings are not tired

BSG

I was mistaken on my discards, I discard a G1, G1, G1, G3, G4

I then move to FTL and active the jump.

BSG

Ok, technically I haven't yet sent Apollo his Quorum cards, Zarek his Super Crisis nor Adama his card draw. I also don't recall offhand who still has an SP. However, even if this die roll fails it makes no difference to the outcome. I am therefore pleased to announce that, for the first time in this forum,

HUMANS WIN!!

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

It's a frakking miracle.

Illigitimi non carborundum

I'd just wanted to be clear on my intentions. It's easier to relieve the tension of the BSG board game when you're actually around the table chucking pretzels at each other.

Well done, y'all. Thanks for bringing me in.

That XKCD post up-thread was hilarious.

I sent it to all my gamer friends with the subject line "thank goodness the pizza dice didn't get mixed in".

My favourite xkcd strip for BSG, which I think encapsulated Boomer's unfortunate situation quite well, is this: [link]

I'll contribute some thoughts about this game a little later. First, I encourage the players to chime in if they want, on how they saw the game.
