Emeline is playing Lego Star Wars II. She insists on kicking the ever-lovin' shit out of C-3PO. Just walkin' up and whackin' him til he falls apart.
Obviously, we need to have a talk about tolerance for gay robots.

Ladies and Gentlemen, it's time to play EVERYBODY'S (especially Pete's) favorite game - British or Gay?
Portal Xbox360 question. I'm having trouble with Testchamber 15. Middle area. Big energy wall. It says to shoot a portal way up high, then go in little room to the side, and shoot one down there, and jump in it, then make a portal as you land, and momentum next time around will carry you over the wall. I'm not having any luck with that. Any tips/tricks? Or do I just need to frak it up a million times until I fall/open a portal right?

I sense a BSG retheme.
Omnis - fall through the portal once as a test run, to check orientation. One end of the blue oval will drop you through upside down, the other drops you through right side up. Once you've determined which end of the oval drops you through right side up, sneak up to that edge as close as you can without falling through, then adjust your view so that you are looking straight down at your (invisible) feet. Now step foreward and fall into the portal. When you drop out of the orange portal high on the wall, your portal gun will already be pointed at the floor more or less where you're going to hit it. And by all means, get blue-trigger happy on the way down. It does take a bit to get the hang of it, but once you do, you should be able to master that trick.
Thanks Sean. When this episode of Farscape is done, I'll give it another whirl. Didn't realize that one side of the portal makes you land upside down.
The portal has a top and a bottom, meaning that you keep the same orientation relative to the portal upon exit as you have upon entry. However, as soon as you exit the portal, you reorient to the room - whatever direction gravitational-down is when enter the portal is replaced by the current gravitational-down as you exit the portal.
I love the mind-bendiness of this game.
That's why the portal is ovoid and not circular, so that you can figure out which end is the top and which the bottom. Also, despite the way I worded my first post, it is helpful to always keep in mind that there is only one portal. It just has two sides - the entrance and the exit.
