We're at risk of losing 1 pop on a roll of 6 or less at the moment.

If someone's got an SP, jumping may be the way to go right now. We'd have a 50% chance of losing 1 population but we wouldn't have to risk taking any more fire from that basestar and losing FTL Control again.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I feel like we risk just as much population by staying as we do by jumping early.

Guys, I can talk the Quorum of 12 into authorizing some assistance that could be very helpful right now--but we will still be in this sector with the billion Cylons--or I could spend a card and get to FTL.

Any preferences/suggestions?

PS: I finally got more BSG to borrow from friends (I'd stopped halfway through Season 3 before)... and the 1st episode I started watching I believe was the inspiration for our last crisis. Pretty cool, in a "Crap, I know a little how they feel," kind of way.

What kind of help can the Quorum provide?

I'm kinda leaning towards getting out of here.

Laga -- help take out some of the Cylons.

But not by any means all of them. We'd still be at risk but I think I can give our Civvies a fighting chance and the risk of population loss would be less than jumping now.

Does one more jump prep put us out of danger of losing population?

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

One more jump prep icon will see the fleet jump automatically at no risk of loss.

I agree, while loosing a straggler in the early jump would suck, I think the amount of damage and population loss waiting to get to auto jump would be worse. We are already halfway home, and have nominal population loss. I fixed the frakin' FTL, lets use it, and get the frell out of here!

My concern with killing Cylons at this point is that unless we can prevent both Basetstars from firing on Galactica, we could potentially lose FTL control and then not be able to jump until we hit auto-jump. Which could potentially kill off a lot more population (and lose more resources) than the 1 pop we're currently risking if we jump early.

We've still got 1 raider activation before we have to worry about losing ships (more if someone gets to communications and moves those civvies in sector 4) but the basestars have been pounding on us all game and I'm worried about us losing the option of jumping early if we need to. And there's way too many raiders currently in the air to think about trying to knock them all out, especially since we've only got one lowly RSV launched at the moment. With the way our luck is going, I could easily see us get two Crisises with raider activations with no jump prep in a row.

Maybe I'd feel a little better about the Quorom idea if I had a clue what is even possible with Quorom cards, but I unfortunately don't.
