I'm also not certain that it is time for the nuke option. Can we XO one of the viper pilots instead and see if we can take out some more vipers?

We don't have anyone is Weapons Control right now either, so Galactica can't take shots at the basestars right now.

yeah, I figured I could be more helpful in a viper. I think firing on the basestar from weapons control is a good idea. I don't have a Maximum Firepower card at the moment so XOing me wouldnt do a lot of good right now.

Apollo has played an MF. I have passes on interrupts, at least while he's shooting raiders. Apologies, I'm posting from my iPhone so formatting is a bit primitive. Results: 5, 6, 1, 3. Hit, hit, miss, hit. All raiders destroyed!

I can help very little with the crisis check. Unless folks have some very nice cards they can play, I'm leaning towards option 2. I hate to take the Morale hit, but it's better than both Morale and Population.
