It really is an amazing game. The detail is incredible.

I was making considerable progress on GTA3, and then decided it was time to save the game and go on a massive killing spree.
Actually, I went on several, each ending with my death.
Very cathartic.

No, wait, that would be the headache I already had.
In GTA IV news, it is becoming clear to me that the one thing I accidentally spoiled myself for - the number of story missions - may have been wrong. It's becoming clear I have quite a few left to go.
The fact that I don't know if I'm 60 or 90 percent of the way through the story? Makes me very happy.
In other GTA news, I just had the mission which was the bank robbery. The running gun battle with assault rifles versus hordes of police had to have been a nod to the movie 'Heat'. BTW, it rocked. The combat in this game has been so satisfying.
