Aye Aye, Dad... er... Admiral!
MOVE
I move my viper to sector 4 with the civvies
ACTION
I play my #2 XO card (sorry, it's at home, forget exacts, XO's are green right?) and XO Boomer. Hopefully she will go to Weaps and fire on that frakkin mother ship! But Once I XO her, I have no say it what she does (see, I'm learning!).
BSG
Aye aye, sir. I
move
to Weapons Control and
fire
on the basestar.
it works better when Pete is playing and the phrase "Blow It Up, Blow It Up, Blow It Up" comes to mind. Since. Well, if you pull a "Pete" in Burnout 2, you never quite hear that phrase. Either way, I'm chanting "Blow It Up!" to get that big mama-jo off the table!
BSG
XOs are indeed Green. Attacking the basestar is a die roll, which may be modified by a Strategic Planning. We'll pause for interrupts. Everyone, please pass or play.
BSG
Boomer passes on interrupts.
BSG
No interrupts here.
Today's weather forecast is for fallout in the morning with more fallout later in the day.
BSG
I'll kick in with Strategic Planning. Come on Boomer, let's start this off right by blasting those toasters out of the sky.
BSG
Die roll:
8 + 2 = 10. Hit! Result:
Critical Hit.
One more hit will destroy this basestar.
Time for Apollo's Crisis Card. You know, I occasionally wonder how the game would go if you just took all the Crisis Cards and arranged them in the order in which they occurred in the series. It wouldn't work so well for some cards, though. The attack cards, for instance, don't generally correspond to a particular episode.
There is one exception, though, and it would be the very first card of all:
Thirty Three
Cylon Attack
First, raiders activate, which means they move from Sector 1 to Sector 2. Then let's add some more ships to the board.
That concludes Apollo's turn. Helo, you're up next. I'm sending you your card draw. Because you're still stranded on Caprica, you do not have a move or action this turn. We'll get to your crisis after I post Apollo's end-of-turn summary.
