Oh, yeah. There was this time I was pinned down by this guy that played left tackle for varsity... Well, at least he used to before he was a vampire... Anyway, he had this really, really thick neck, and all I had was a little, little Exact-O knife ... You're not loving this story.

With just 1 card from Helo and 1 card from Starbuck, is it enough to avoid... a crash landing? Let's see what we have:

Purple 3
Red 1
Red 5
Green 1

Tally: 9 - 1 = 8. Pass - no effect. Some hotshot flying sees the Admiral return safely.

For the rest of the card, the Cylon activation has no effect, and there is no jump icon. President Tigh, I'm sending your cards. When you're ready, please post your move and action.

Move: I spend a G-1 and move to the President's Office.

Action: I use the President's Office to draw a Quorum card. I'll wait to see what it is before deciding how to finish my action.

Okay, I've got my two Quorum cards. If the toaster twins don't cause major trouble, someone XO me.

Admiral Thrace, when you're ready please post your choice.

We're in luck. Our two highest supplies share the same option.

We'll be taking Option 1 please.

Your attention please. This is Admiral Thrace addressing the fleet. I know we're all scared. We've been through a lot. I know there aren't near as many of us as there were when we left Caprica, and we're desperately searching for the fuel we need to keep going, but food riots will not help.

Regulations state that I am well within my authority to have all the rioters put to death, but we've been through enough already. We don't need any more bloodshed. However, I have posted Colonian Marines throughout the fleet to help keep the peace. Do not force my hand. Please, return to your duties or your quarters. We will get through this and find a new home, but only if we can keep from tearing each other apart.

That is all.

I like to think of the loss of Food and Morale on the one hand, or Fuel and Population on the other, represents the Admiral deciding whether to acquiesce to popular demand and resort to cannibalism. (You need the fuel to fire up the barbecues - you're not savages, dammit!)

The rest of the card's pretty dull. No cylon ships to activate, no jump prep. Apollo, I'm sending your cards. When you're ready, please post your move and action. (My Internet connection is still fritzed, so I don't know when I'll get to post the summary.)
