The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Yeah, maybe you should pick up a copy for me. It's what, about $40?
Something like that. I'm going to see the wife of the store owner tomorrow night, so I'll ask her if she knows if they've got it in stock.

What a lovely thread!!! Where are the Cheetoes?

Sean, you might take a look at Savage Worlds for a ruleset before you roll your own. It's not quite levelless, but close. I like it quite a bit.

brillig

I miss DMing--hell, I miss D&D, but the only games around here are Living Greyhawk, which I hate. Yes, yes, the answer to that is to start my own game, but I want to play and hack and slash and snark at a DM who knows what he/she is doing.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

And please fear not, libkitty. I know several of the people who started the thread also play Scrabulous, including myself.

So this means we should invite each other, yes? I think I've friended you on Facebook...

I like Scrabulous, but I only check Facebook about once a week.

I wasn't all that whelmed with Settlers of Catan, but thought it was decent enough. I really like Starfarers of Catan, although the nifty spaceships are breaking.

Have you Catan fans played Carcassone or Caylus?

Remember, remember/the fifth of November/the Gunpowder Treason and Plot/I see no reason/Why Gunpowder Treason/Should ever be forgot.

I am pretty sure that Unhallowed Metropolis is an Impressions client...

...goes into Alliance Games Distributor database...

Okay, stock number is IMP EOS1300

According to it, Alliance has it in stock in all four of their warehouses, including their west coast one, but their inventory database has massive holes in it.

Alliance is the largest of the hobby game distributors, so must hobby gaming shops should deal with them on a regular basis...

Warning! Like Raq, I sometimes forget about Facebook for a bit, but at this point I have enough Scrabulous games going, I *will* check in eventually.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I am posting for Joe as he is off to the pub for a drink or seven.

Yay gaming!

Our wings are not tired.

Yay Gaming Thread! Woo! I'm delighted that you have this shiny new thread to play in. I really do love the enthusiasm.

No real gaming in my life except that my son lives in the World of Warcraft. DH#1 used to have big war board games on the dining room table for months at a time. He never convinced me it was anything but a serious amount of work. If I game I prefer to have a beginning and end within a reasonable period of time.

I'm lame. The last time I played anything other than standard board games was when I rocked the original Lode Runner. Kept an old computer box around just for that purpose.

I'll be checking in from time to time, but I'm a bit afraid of being sucked in to this madness. Have fun gamers!
