Of course the Pradmiral is all for "confirming" his humanity - at the expense of the morale of the fleet.
Especially when the "person" doing the confirmation is beneath his thumb, and very, very close to him.
At least in construction.
My advice: spend cards, prevent the loss of morale. I'm not interested in any lies coming out of the military today.
BSG
I'm not sure, last game I spent a lot of cards early and then never had enough later on. Oh wait- I was in the brig.
BSG
So the terrorist complains about the military and then expects us to do most of his work for him? I would have expected more effort out of you, Mr. Zarek if you truly wanted to maintain morale.
Heh, well played, Stunthusband, well played. You evil git.
BSG
Let's check on who has actually expended effort, and how much has been expended.
So far, I am the ONLY person concerned with the health of the fleet. The military has completely failed to to anything - yet.
Actions, ladies and gentlemen - those speak far louder than any of this...chatter. I've taken what action I *can*.
I know what to call those who work for the betterment of the human race. I also have a word to use for those who don't.
BSG
I have COs from the remaining crew members. Result:
Destiny:
2 cards
Chief:
No cards
Zarek:
1 card
Helo:
No cards
Starbuck:
No cards
Tigh:
No cards
Apollo:
No cards
Cards played:
Yellow 1
Yellow 3
Green 3
Tally:
7 - 0 = 7. Fail.
This check failed by only 2; therefore a Declare Emergency interrupt may be played to pass the check. We'll wait 12 hours; everyone, please post whether you play one or pass.
BSG
Any further evidence necessary to prove that the military is virtually useless? I arranged their supply; I reconstructed the government; I didn't fight when Tigh stripped me of my constitutional office; and now I must act - actually, sweat blood - to prevent the people from sinking into despair.
Remember what you made me do today - when cooperation would have been so much cheaper in the long run, and it is a very long run to safety. At least Tigh, convalescing in Sick Bay, can't hit the OFF switch on Colonial One's wireless.
"Attention, citizens of the Twelve Colonies! This is Tom Zarek, and it is vital that you listen: a state of emergency has been declared in the fleet, requiring that you obey President/Admiral Tigh and his duly-appointed military adjutants in everything they request. The defense of the fleet in the face of this Cylon armada is difficult, but not impossible. There is strength in unity, and unity comes from common purpose and the setting-aside of personal agendas. Don't rely upon past privilege to grant you special dispensation; from now on we are all equal, all human, all citizens. I won't even call us refugees. Our home is before us, on Kobol, not behind us among the ashes of the Colonies. Take heart, remember who you are and who we all are, and work together so we can complete our journey safely, and alive."
BSG
I Declare an Emergency (of 4G strength) to reduce the check difficulty by 2, allowing is the check to PASS.
