Apollo has moved to Sector 3, no doubt clenching his jaw as he goes. Meanwhile, suspicion has arisen that the Fleet may have been infiltrated. His Crisis Card is:

Cylon Screenings
Skill Check (9 YG)

We will pause for interrupts (Investigative Committee or Scientific Research). Everyone who's drawn Yellow and/or Blue, please pass or play. (I have some COs at home, once I get there I'll deal with them.)

You mean Yellow and or Green, right?

Also, is it important to tell people what the card does and what's on the line? Or is that just part of the game? I didn't notice the text wasn't passed on with the last card but I see that it wasn't.

No, Yellow and/or Blue. At the moment we're still dealing with interrupts; the two possible interrupts are IC and/or SR.

Because the game's copyrighted, and this is a public forum, there's a limit to what I can post in-thread. So yes, any card text or board text can't appear here. (The rules are publicly available online, so that's ok.)

Ok, I have passes from almost everyone, and that's enough time for interrupts. Let's get the check underway. Chief Tyrol, you're the first to play into this check; Apollo will wrap it up.

Destiny: 2 cards

Zarek:
Helo:
Starbuck:

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Nevermind

I can help with the check, but I'm on the fence about this. Losing morale would hurt, but having our sole leader being a Cylon could hurt us more.

I am very tempted to let the "Pradmiral" and his "men" figure this one out as a test of his fitness for either sort of command. However, this is too important to all the people of the Colonies let those two be the only fingers in the pot.

BT, thanks for the clarification. The phrasing had me confused but I've got it now. Probably.

Cylon screenings? In the middle of a frakkin' firefight? Are you kidding me? We don't even know if any of Baltar's tests actually worked!

I can throw in a little to help the check, but frankly it doesn't seem worth it. I'm pretty certain most of you want to feel better about which side yer old Pradmiral is on, even if the screenings chip at our already dwindling Morale. A pass would mean we are untouched by this crisis, but that's not enough for you bloodsuckers, is it?

I'm of the opinion of let's learn what the PrAdmiral is.

So? Who get's to see his card? Since it's a crisis card, is it revealed to the group? I doubt it. We then need to know, if the person who SAW the card is telling the truth or not. Ahhh the paranoia. Gotta love this game.

(I use italics to be out-of-game chat, BTW - I'm not sure if I made that clear enough)

o_a - unless a game mechanic specifically says "show everyone", it's NOT revealed to the group. So yes - Apollo alone would see the card, and then could 1) lie, 2) tell the truth, 3) smile knowingly and remain silent.
